As can be seen from the infographics prepared by Sputnik Azerbaijan, the republic is in 139th place, while significantly inferior to its neighbors in the Central Asian region.

However, it is noted that in Turkmenistan the speed is also low, but no exact data is provided.

Meanwhile, the fastest mobile Internet in the world is in the United Arab Emirates - here the speed is 210.89 Mbit/s. It works slowest in Cuba - 4.34 Mbit/s.

It is worth noting that not only users, but also the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon expressed dissatisfaction with the low-quality and expensive Internet in the country.

At a government meeting, he instructed to reduce prices for Internet and mobile communications in the republic and improve quality.

Internet speed in Central Asian countries

Meanwhile, according to the Communications Service, Tajik mobile companies have already installed about 340 base stations throughout the country and work is still ongoing.
