Tajikistan received a grant from the World Bank to implement the project

The Ministry of Labor and Employment of Tajikistan spoke about a new project for citizens of the republic, which received support from the World Bank

The Government of Tajikistan received a grant of $37.5 million from the World Bank to implement the project “Modernization of Social Protection and Economic Inclusion”.

This was reported by the Ministry of Labor and Employment of the republic.

It is noted that the goal of the project is to support low-income families, as well as promote economic integration and improve the social protection system.

The Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of Tajikistan is one of two institutions implementing the project jointly with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population.

It is clarified that the IAEA will have overall responsibility for the implementation of all activities in accordance with sections 2 and 4.2 of the project.

A program management team established within the ministry will manage the day-to-day activities of the project, providing technical, financial and procurement assistance.
