The authorities of Tajikistan are doing a lot of work to prepare the socio-economic sphere of the republic for winter - everything necessary for the population is being prepared

Preparations for the winter season are in full swing in Tajikistan.

Thus, the institutions responsible for maintaining highways in cities and regions of the republic have stored over 24 thousand cubic meters of anti-slip material, 14 thousand liters of diesel fuel, 55 tons of coal and 237 cubic meters of firewood.

455 vehicles have been prepared for regular operation and maintenance of roads.

At the same time, it is planned to supply 135.3 tons of anti-slip material, 165.5 tons of diesel fuel and 85 tons of gasoline to the airports of the republic.

It is noted that providing the population with heat and electricity occupies an important place in the action plan.

Ministries, departments and executive authorities of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, the city of Dushanbe and cities and regions of republican subordination have prepared a plan for food and fuel reserves for the needs of the population, institutions of the socio-economic sphere of the country and the authorities.

Food reserves are: flour - 46.5 thousand tons, oil - 17.6 thousand tons, rice - 17.1 thousand tons, sugar - 13.8 thousand tons, canned food - 1214.2 thousand boxes, potatoes - 44.3 thousand tons, onions - 25.4 thousand tons, coal - 235 thousand tons.

Stocks for the winter will be replenished until November 1.
