The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan confirmed the country’s participation in the “Moscow format” in Kazan.

This was reported by the press service of the ministry.

Thus, one of the representatives of the republic will be at the meeting on the Afghan settlement, which will take place on September 29, 2023.

Let us remind you that Taliban Foreign Minister* Amir Khan Muttaqi will also take part in the event and has already left for Moscow.

In addition, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia expects the “Moscow format” in Kazan to talk about overcoming the difficulties of Afghanistan.

Earlier, official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova reported that during the meeting it is planned to discuss the current situation in Afghanistan, issues of intra-Afghan reconciliation, ensuring regional security and post-conflict reconstruction of the country.
