The press service of the parliament of the republic noted that the corresponding document has been sent to the upper house for its final adoption

The Parliament of Tajikistan has approved a document that will regulate the process of deportation of citizens of the republic from Russia to their homeland in the event of their violation of Russian legislation.

This was reported by the press service of the parliament.

It is noted that the signing of the agreement took place within the framework of a joint meeting of representatives of Tajikistan and Russia.

The press service told TASS that the document was sent to the upper house of parliament for its final adoption.

It should be noted that in 2019, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov pointed out the need to sign an agreement on Dushanbe’s obligation to return migrants who have violated laws in the Russian Federation.

Earlier it became known that Tajiks detained in the Russian Federation in the case of illegal migration would be deported to their homeland.

Thus, 26 citizens of Tajikistan have been in a center for foreigners in the Vladimir region since April 2023.According to official information, a criminal case has been opened against the company where illegal migrants worked.
