Tajikistan and Kazakhstan signed a memorandum on digital technologies

Tajikistan pays considerable attention to the development of electronic public services and communications, taking into account the needs of society

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited the Digital Government Office of the Republic as part of a working visit to Kazakhstan.

This is stated in the press service of the Tajik leader.

During the visit, Rahmon was accompanied by the head of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

It is worth noting that the office is engaged in the formation and implementation of the country's development strategy in the field of digital technologies, innovations, communications, public services and the electronics industry.

Also, issues of e-government, the activities of the State Corporation "Government for Citizens" and information security are being resolved here.

The presentation presented the directions of the office's work, including the introduction of public services in electronic form, which will simplify citizens' access to services and documentation, as well as reduce bureaucracy and waiting times.

For this purpose, the Electronic Government Center has been established in Kazakhstan.

Emomali Rahmon expressed his wishes for success to the development team and stressed the importance of introducing the concept of "Electronic Government" in the modern world.

He also noted that Tajikistan also pays considerable attention to the development of electronic public services, taking into account the needs of society.

As a result of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan on cooperation in the transfer of e-government platform systems.
