Tajikistan and Bashkortostan will expand cooperation in the field of tourism

A delegation from Tajikistan headed by the Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development under the government of Muminzoda Kamoliddin Ramazon paid a working visit to Bashkiria, MK.RU reports.

Rustam Muratov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria, met with members of the delegation and discussed with them the tourism potential of Tajikistan and Bashkiria at the Toratau Congress Hall. The heads of the companies "Resorts of Tajikistan" and "Orient Adventure" presented the potential of their republic, where ecological, health-improving, gastronomic and mountaineering tourism is developed.

The guests proposed to establish cooperation between the federation of independent trade unions of the parties, resorts and other industry participants. At the same time, the government of Tajikistan provides financial incentives for investors: exemption from value added tax for five years, exemption from customs duties for the import of building materials, and other concessions.

Following the meeting, the parties signed cooperation agreements between tour operators of Bashkiria and Tajikistan and raffled among them gift certificates for promotional tours in a sanatorium in Tajikistan. The Bashkir delegation was also invited to Dushanbe for a tourism forum and exhibition to be held in September.
