The competitions were held from 12 to 20 July in Jordanian Oman. The competition brought together young wrestlers aged 15 to 20 years.

On the first day of the competition, Tajik athletes won 4 medals in Greco-Roman wrestling.
In the 44 kg category, Damir Otaev took gold and the title of Asian champion in this form. He defeated his Iranian rival Muhammadhussein Rahimobodi in the final match with a score of 6-4.
Before reaching the final, Damir Otaev defeated Uzbek Shokhdzhakhon Jabborov in the semifinals, and Sunkar Zarapi from Kazakhstan in the quarterfinals with a score of 7-0.
Alisher Ruzimadov brought another gold medal to the country's sports treasury at the Asian Championship among juniors in the weight category up to 75 kg.
In the final, he defeated Rizo Sarmaidoni from Iran 7:0 and won the championship title.
Tajik wrestler Amirjon Obidov returned from the Asian Championship with a bronze medal in the 52 kg category.
The wrestler defeated Indian rival Yogesh Falsvali with a score of 10-9, and in the semi-finals lost to Uzbek Orazdurdi Saparmuratov with a score of 0-9 and did not reach the final.
Obidov won bronze in a duel with Iraqi Majid Alasarkh.

Another bronze medal was won by Shokhdzhakhon Boboev in the 57 kg weight category, defeating Ahmad Almukhsin with a score of 9-1.
