Tajik schoolchildren successfully performed at the Olympiad in London

The winners of the International TeenEagle Olympiad in English, which was held in London at the end of June, were solemnly welcomed at the Modern International School of Dushanbe.

13 school students won prizes in the Olympiad. In total, 20 students of the private educational institution "Modern International School" went. Four guys took second place, and nine were awarded bronze medals.

School teachers Hayyom Ikromi and Firuza Khudoydodova, who accompanied their wards, said that for the third year the students of their school have been participating in this competition and winning prizes.

TeenEagle is an international English Olympiad for students aged 8 to 18. The Olympiad has two main tournaments: an online round and a global final, which takes place in three countries of the world: Malaysia, England and Italy.

The first building of the Modern International School opened in 2021. The second building was opened in 2022 with the participation of President Emomali Rahmon.

“Our teachers and students are hired and studied on the basis of a competition, and the activities of the institution are implemented on the basis of the Cambridge Educational Program of Great Britain,” said Obid Rasulov, director of the school.

According to him, the school has created the necessary conditions for educating and educating teenagers in accordance with international standards, teaching is conducted in English and Russian.

20 percent of students and teachers are foreign citizens.
