In Tajikistan, a special commission has been created to assess damage after heavy rains.
This was reported in the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense of the Republic.
It is noted that the commission will also organize the process of eliminating the destruction and providing assistance to victims of natural disasters.
So, the group is led by Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan Matlubahon Sattoriyon.
"The special commission has already visited the affected rural jamoats of the cities of Vahdat, Gissar, Rudaki and Varzob districts," the source stressed.

Recall that in the evening of August 27, in the Tajikabad district, due to heavy rains, mudflows descended on the 194th km of the Dushanbe-Vakhdat-Lyakhsh-Saritosh highway, which runs through the territory of the village of Gulomon of the Langari Shoh Jamoat.
The 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 18th km of the Labi Jar highway - the center of the Sangvor region and the 50th km of the Dushanbe - Khujand highway in the Varzob region were also flooded.
In addition, 5 local bridges, inter-settlement roads and protective structures were damaged. Currently, special services are working at the scene, assessing the amount of damage.
