Tajik authorities are considering creating joint industrial zones with Russia

Tajikistan plans to organize joint industrial zones with Russia.

This was stated by Minister of Industry and New Technologies Sherali Kabir.

Such facilities may be opened by analogy with those already implemented in other countries of the Central Asian region.

According to Kabir, such plans were discussed with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.

"We came to the conclusion that, for example, to create technology parks that Russia has built in other countries, with our neighbors, we will also use this experience," he said.

As part of the project, joint chemical technology parks and a machine-building cluster will probably be organized.
