Tajik athletes won 9 medals at competitions in Uzbekistan

The Tajikistan national team took part in traditional international athletics competitions in memory of Gennady Arzumanov in Tashkent

Athletes from Tajikistan won 9 medals at the traditional international athletics competition in memory of Gennady Arzumanov in Tashkent.

This was reported by the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan.

It is noted that 2 out of 9 medals are gold. The athletes also won 4 silver and 3 bronze medals.

Thus, Favoris Muzrapov was awarded a gold medal for his performance in the race: he covered 100 m in 10.79 seconds and 200 m in 21.91 seconds.

Mushtari Bobogulova won the silver medal in the discus throw at a distance of 37.95 m.

Also, Nigorai Amirkhan and Zuhurshahi Najmiddin received a silver award for the 3 km steeplechase, and Leonid Pronzhenko - for 400 m in the same category.

Tajikistan will send a record number of athletes to the Asian Games

Ildar Akhmadiev won a bronze medal in the long jump at a distance of 7.28 m.

Kristina Pronzhenko also won a bronze medal in the 400m hurdles, and the Tajikistan team received bronze in the 4x100 relay.
