On October 20, in accordance with a presidential decree, new Deputy Ministers of Education and Science were appointed. Specifically, Oybek Yuldoshev has assumed the position of First Deputy Minister, while Mehriniso Pardaeva and Sanjar Mirzaliev have been appointed as Deputy Ministers.

Prior to this appointment, Oybek Yuldoshev led the public sector, infrastructure, and ESG consulting practice at PwC Uzbekistan.

Before becoming a Deputy Minister, Mehriniso Pardaeva served as the head of the Department for Pedagogical and Psychological Support of Education at the Republican Scientific and Methodological Center for Education Development.

Throughout his career, Sanjar Mirzaliev has held various senior positions at the Turin Polytechnic University, the "O‘zagrotexsanoatholding" conglomerate, and the Tashkent State University of Economics. On May 14, 2026, he was appointed Executive Director of the Belarusian-Uzbek Joint Intersectoral Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications. It is worth noting that on October 3, 2026, a presidential decree established a unified Ministry of Education and Science—formed by merging the Ministry of Preschool and School Education with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation—with Erkinjon Turdimov appointed to lead the new ministry. Additionally, Ilkhom Siradjev has been appointed Deputy Minister responsible for compliance and internal anti-corruption control.
