T-800: China’s Combat Robot

The EngineAI company from Shenzhen unveiled its new humanoid robot — T-800 — at the World Robot Conference in Beijing. The robot is built in full human size, with height and weight comparable to that of an adult.

T-800 was introduced as a “combat robot.” The company plans to test it in upcoming controlled fighting events. These trials aim to evaluate the robot’s durability, mobility, and force resistance. Later, the technology is expected to be applied in manufacturing facilities and service industries.
