Syrdarya leaders “failed” at dictation

When the literacy level of the heads of state agencies in Syrdarya was checked, most received unsatisfactory grades. The working group of the regional khokimiyat found that the implementation of the government resolution on the transition to the Latin-based Uzbek alphabet was not ensured. It was found that the literacy of employees of organizations such as healthcare, “Regional Electric Networks”, “Uztelecom” and “Uzbekistan Post” was low. Acting regional khokimiyat Erkinjon Turdimov gave instructions to eliminate shortcomings, increase the literacy of employees and ensure the transition to the Latin script.

Starting from January 1, 2023, the development, acceptance and publication of business and other documents in the Latin-based Uzbek alphabet in all organizations in Uzbekistan has been fully implemented.
