Swiss Court Suspends Gulnara Karimova Case
The Swiss Federal Criminal Court has suspended the money laundering trial against Gulnara Karimova because she was not allowed to leave Uzbekistan in time. Karimova's lawyer described the decision as effectively "a acquittal." Gulnara Karimova is currently in prison and will serve her sentence until December 2028.
