Suspect in the Killing of an Uzbek Student in the U.S. Found Dead

The individual suspected of fatally shooting Uzbek student Muhammadaziz Umurzoqov during a shooting at Brown University was found dead in a warehouse in Salem, New Hampshire. Authorities are currently investigating his possible connection to the killing of a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

The shooting occurred on December 13 in the Barus + Holley Building, where the suspect killed two people and injured eight others. Investigators reported that the suspect fled the scene on foot, and the search was mainly conducted using surveillance camera footage.

MIT professor Nuno Loureiro was shot dead at his home in Brookline, located about 80 kilometers north of the Brown University campus. Authorities are now examining whether the two crimes are connected.
