The 46th plenary session of the Senate considered the issue of the election of the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis for the Rights of the Child.
At the 46th plenary session of the Senate, the issue of the election of the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis for the Rights of the Child (Children's Ombudsman) was considered.
The Senate decided to elect Suraye Rakhmonova to the post of Children's Ombudsman.
For reference, Suraye Rakhmanova was born in Tashkent in 1978.
She received a bachelor's degree in 2000 and a master's degree in 2002 from Tashkent State Law University. In 2018, she was awarded the scientific degree of Doctor of Law.
In 2018-2019, Suraye Rakhmonova was the head of the Public Relations and Legal Information Service of the Prosecutor General's Office, since 2019 – the head of the AIMK department, since 2022 she worked in the public relations Department of the Senate.
We remind you that Aliya Yunusova, who worked as a representative of the Oliy Majlis on children's rights, resigned in September this year.
