Support for exporters in the EAEU: cooperation between government agencies and agencies was discussed in Astana

ASTANA, August 21 - Sputnik. Measures to support exporters in the EAEU countries, as well as issues of interaction in reinsurance and trade finance were discussed at the KazakhExport site in the capital of Kazakhstan, the company's press service reports.

The leaders of KazakhExport, Baiterek NMH JSC, Beleximgarant (Belarus), EXIAR JSC (Russia), Export Insurance Agency of Armenia CJSC and others spoke about the results of their work and discussed the prospects for establishing the Eurasian Reinsurance Company, mechanisms for exchanging information between export credit agencies for underwriting and other manufacturing export support issues, the company added.

"KazakhExport representatives shared with the participants the mechanisms to support exporters, as well as their experience in using support tools, including trade finance and letter of credit insurance," the report says.

The participants, KazakhExport noted, highly appreciated the importance of the meeting for further cooperation and interaction with export credit organizations, improving the system of insurance support and developing trade and economic relations between the countries.

KazakhExport, as a single operator for the promotion of non-commodity exports, is actively developing international cooperation with the largest foreign export credit agencies. The company is preparing to transform into an export credit agency, the company reminded.

Since 2016, KazakhExport has supported more than 200 exporters in the amount of more than 870 billion tenge, the company added.
