Subsidies for mortgage loans have started again in Uzbekistan

In Uzbekistan, state subsidies for mortgage loans have started again. This was reported by the Unified interactive state services portal.

Citizens who have reached the age of 18 can apply for a subsidy. Subsidy is given to families with low income and need to improve housing conditions based on social criteria.

According to the government's decision to approve the regulation on the procedure for paying subsidies to citizens for the purchase of housing or the construction and reconstruction of individual housing:

in rural areas, the minimum wage is from 3 times (2 million 466 thousand soums) to 6.9 times (up to 5 million 671 thousand 800 soums);
From 3 times (2 million 466 thousand soums) to 8 times (up to 6 million 576 thousand soums) of the established MHTEKM in the cities of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regions;
In Tashkent, families whose income is from 3 times (2 million 466 thousand soums) to 9.2 times (up to 7 million 562 thousand 400 soums) of the specified MHTEKM are recognized as not having a high income.
Subsidy application procedure

Our citizens can apply electronically through the my.gov.uz portal to receive subsidies for mortgage loans.

After receiving a positive notification in the "My applications" section of the my.gov.uz portal, the applicant concludes a contract with a construction (contracting) organization on the purchase of housing with a mortgage loan of a value that does not exceed the higher value of the housing specified in the answer. Subsidies are given only once per family (one of the family members).

It was announced that from May 1, people with insufficient official income will be able to get a mortgage loan in Uzbekistan. Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the relevant decree on April 13. In this case, the solvency of these citizens is determined taking into account their bank card turnover, rent, utility and other expenses.
