A video showing students crossing the Salar canal through a pipe in the Sergeli district of Tashkent has been widely shared on social media.
According to the district administration, the incident occurred in the area adjacent to the Yuqori Darkhon and Jonariq neighborhoods. Relevant decisions have been made to reconstruct the bridge over the canal here. Construction work is scheduled to begin in the next 5-10 days. The project includes the construction of a new bridge, the creation of separate pedestrian walkways, and the repair of the road surface.
The administration asked citizens to follow safety rules until the construction work is completed, and parents should not leave children unattended in dangerous areas.
