Student in Tashkent Allegedly Forced to Swallow Magnetic Bracelet

A student from School No. 151 in Tashkent’s Yashnobod district has reportedly suffered severe injuries after being subjected to violence at school. He underwent a three-hour surgery and is currently in the intensive care unit.
According to the victim's mother, two students threatened her son near the school restroom and forced him to swallow a metal magnetic bracelet. Frightened, the boy did not immediately tell his parents about the incident. Later, he developed severe abdominal pain and was taken to the hospital. An X-ray revealed the presence of a metal object inside him. It turned out that the bracelet had damaged his intestine in six places. During surgery, doctors removed approximately 5 centimeters of the intestine. The student is currently in intensive care.
No official statement regarding the incident has been issued so far.
