Student Honored for Rescuing Child Who Nearly Fell from Balcony

Earlier, a video went viral on social media showing a young boy in Tashkent who almost fell from a balcony.
While the mother had left her small children alone at home, they were playing on the balcony when the youngest got his head stuck between the railings and was close to falling.
Fortunately, a quick-thinking neighbor rescued the child just in time.

It was later revealed that the hero was Muhriddin Ilashov, a student at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.
On October 18, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, Qo‘ng‘irotboy Sharipov, presented him with a certificate of appreciation and a souvenir gift for his bravery and selflessness.

Meanwhile, the child’s mother was given a preventive warning for leaving her children unattended.
