Strong earthquake in Thailand and Myanmar

A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 struck Myanmar. According to CNN, about 12 minutes after the first quake, another earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 struck the region. The earthquakes were also felt in China and Thailand, shaking skyscrapers.
Tremors were also recorded in the Thai capital, Bangkok, where one of the buildings under construction collapsed. At least 43 workers were trapped under them. Airports and metro services in the country were temporarily suspended. Citizens were evacuated from homes and hotels by stairs and taken out onto the streets.
