Strong earthquake in Afghanistan: there are casualties

A powerful 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck northern Afghanistan on November 3 near the city of Mazar-i-Sharif. The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake struck at a depth of 28 kilometers. The quake was felt in Balkh, Samangan, Kabul, Tohar, Kunduz, and Sarpol provinces, and tremors were also recorded in parts of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Iran, and India.
According to the latest reports, at least 13 people have died and more than 200 have been injured in the natural disaster. The death toll may rise.
