Strait of Hormuz Opens to Commercial Ships
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi announced that the Strait of Hormuz has been temporarily opened to all commercial ships as part of a peace agreement between Israel and Lebanon. After the announcement, oil prices fell on the world market, with Brent crude falling by about 8.7 percent. US President Donald Trump welcomed and thanked Iran for this decision. He also said that further talks between the US and Iran could take place in the coming days.
