State Visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Pakistan Concludes

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has завершил his state visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. In Islamabad, he held talks with President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The sides discussed strengthening strategic partnership and cooperation in politics, economy, investment, transport and humanitarian areas. A package of bilateral agreements was signed.

President Mirziyoyev also took part in the Uzbekistan–Pakistan Business Forum and met with business leaders. He was awarded Pakistan’s highest state honor — the Nishan-e-Pakistan Order.

After the visit, the President departed for Tashkent.
