State medical institutions switched to a 5-day work week

By the presidential decree “On measures to support medical and pharmaceutical workers”, state medical institutions were switched to a 5-day work week from April 1.

According to it:

🔹 The weekly working time of medical workers does not exceed 36 hours; 
🔹 For work in harmful, dangerous conditions and with high mental stress, it does not exceed 36 hours; 
🔹 The working time for non-medical workers is 40 hours. 

Polyclinics and family medicine points:

Monday–Friday: 08:00–20:00
Saturday: 08:00–14:00 (on-call)

In the regions of the new medical model:

Main working hours: 08:00–16:00
Additional on-call: 16:00–20:00

On-call in hospitals is permanent, shifts and on-call are distributed fairly. Wages are maintained, not reduced, internal documents and employment contracts are re-issued. In addition, the “Best Doctor”, “Best Hospital” and other nominations are organized, the winners of which are awarded cash prizes of up to 30 million soums, and the best medical institutions are awarded up to 500 million soums.
