Stanford scientists have created an implant that can "read" a person's thoughts

Scientists at Stanford University in the US have developed a special device that can translate a person's silent thoughts into words. Previously, such systems only worked when a person tried to speak. Now, even if a person does not open his mouth, thoughts in the brain can be converted into words through a special device. The study involved four patients who had lost the ability to speak. As a result, the words they thought were correctly interpreted with 74% accuracy.

This technology will enable communication for people who cannot speak in the future.
