Specific times for noise prohibitions established in Uzbekistan

Specific timeframes have been established in Uzbekistan during which disturbing citizens with noise is prohibited. This is outlined in the Law "On Protecting the Population from the Harmful Effects of Noise," adopted on September 9.
According to the law:

🔹On workdays — from 23:00 to 07:00;
🔹On weekends and public holidays — from 22:00 to 09:00, noise that disturbs the peace of citizens is not permitted.

This requirement applies to household noise in residential areas, as well as noise from construction work, construction machinery, and vehicles.
If noise levels exceed established limits and disturb citizens' peace, compensation may be recovered through the courts. The law enters into force three months after its official publication.
