Speaker of Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan to meet with President and Chairman of the National Assembly of Serbia

The parliamentary delegation, headed by the chairman of the Milli Majlis (parliament) of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova, arrived on an official visit to the capital of the Republic of Serbia, Belgrade, on May 24. During the visit, the speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament will meet with the President of Serbia, the Chairman of the Parliament of this country.

Report was told in the Public Relations and Press Department of the Milli Majlis, the delegation, among others, includes Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee Sadig Gurbanov, Head of the Working Group on Inter-Parliamentary Relations with Serbia Malahat Ibrahimgizi and MP Aliabbas Salakhzade.

At Belgrade International Airport Nikola Tesla Azerbaijani parliamentarians were met by the head of the friendship group with Azerbaijan in the National Assembly, Dusan Marich, and the Azerbaijani ambassador to Belgrade, Kamil Khasiev.

Within the framework of the visit, meetings of the leader of the Milli Majlis with the Prime Minister of the country, a visit by the delegation to the monument to the national leader Heydar Aliyev in Belgrade and its participation in the event dedicated to May 28 - Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan are also planned.
