ASTANA, Aug 25 - Sputnk. Space cargo ship Progress MS-24 at 09.45, the time of the capital of Kazakhstan, automatically docked to the service module "Звезда" of the Russian segment. This was reported in Roscosmos.

"Progress MS-24" started from Baikonur two days ago. The ship delivered 2,495 kilograms of cargo to the International Space Station, including more than 1.5 tons of dry cargo for the station's crew and systems, half a ton of fuel to refuel the ISS, 420 kilograms of drinking water and 40 kilograms of nitrogen to replenish the atmosphere at the station.

Since 1978, this has been the 185th docking of Progress family spacecraft to orbital stations, including the 90th with the ISS, Roscosmos added.
