The South Korean parliament voted for the second time in a week to impeach President Yun Seok-yol, with 204 members voting in favor and 85 members voting against. Yun is being investigated on charges of treason and sedition.

If the Constitutional Court confirms Yun's impeachment, the country will hold new presidential elections within the next 60 days. If the Constitutional Court does not support the parliament's decision, Yun will be reinstated. At the same time, the president may voluntarily resign amid growing public discontent.
