South Korean President Yoon Seok-yol said at a government meeting that Pyongyang can use nuclear weapons to achieve its goals, Yonhap news agency reports. According to him, North Korea will fully mobilize all available means "to achieve its military goals" and is "ready to use nuclear weapons." Yoon Seok-yol warned of the danger of serious social unrest and division in South Korea due to the "spreading of fake news and the mobilization of anti-state propaganda forces" by the DPRK in the event of a war, and called for preparations against it. He also said Pyongyang may be considering crippling South Korea's national infrastructure through attacks on nuclear power plants, advanced industrial facilities and telecommunications networks. The President of South Korea emphasized the need to strengthen trilateral cooperation between South Korea, the United States and Japan against the background of the increasing threat from the DPRK. Recently, a meeting of the leaders of the three countries was held in Washington.
