South Korea simplifies visa issuance for Uzbeks

For the first time in South Korea's history, mechanisms for issuing work visas to citizens of Uzbekistan in a simplified manner through the Ulsan City Hall will be introduced.
Such a mechanism is being used for the first time as a pilot project. The Korean mayor said that if the results are positive, other cities may also introduce this mechanism for Uzbek citizens.

The Korean side also said that it is ready to consider the request of the Uzbek side on the possibility of organizing the employment of Uzbek citizens with their families at Ulsan enterprises, provided that they have not become illegal.
