Uzbekistan is planning to develop a bill that would restrict the use of social media by children under 16.
According to the Minister of Preschool and School Education, Ezozkhon Karimova, this issue has been discussed with deputies and senators. Once the draft law is prepared, it will be submitted to public discussion.
The minister noted that it is impossible to force children to completely abandon their phones, but it is important to form a culture of using them. Therefore, it is proposed to restrict the use of social media by children under 16 by law.
