SMS messaging service to double in price from March 1

Play Mobile announced a change in tariffs for incoming messages from the Uzcard national payment system. According to it, from March 1, the cost of each SMS sent from the number 5800 for customers of Beeline, Humans, Perfectum, Ucell, Mobiuz and UzMobile operators will increase from 84.2 soums to 168.4 soums. It was noted that the prices for this service have not changed since July 2019, but at the same time, the volume of SMS traffic has increased by 75%, which “significantly increased the cost of servicing the hardware and software complex.”

In addition, Plum Technologies also announced an increase in the cost of notification services for the CardXabar Telegram bot.
