Small businesses to receive a three-year moratorium on excessive inspections

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave instructions to reduce administrative pressure on businesses during a meeting with entrepreneurs in Khorezm on August 18.

According to the instructions, a three-year moratorium will be introduced on inspections of small businesses in cases that are not related to causing harm to human health or violating the interests of other entrepreneurs. The President emphasized that instead of constantly inspecting businesses, authorities should guide entrepreneurs on how to operate legally.

“Where there is no peace of mind, there can be no freedom, development, or desire to innovate,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

In addition, if representatives of medium-sized and large businesses voluntarily undergo a preventive audit, its findings will be recognized by tax authorities. Entrepreneurs who eliminate identified deficiencies will not be fined. Repeated inspections within one year will only be conducted with the permission of the Business Ombudsman.
