Six representatives of Turkmenistan won grants for free education in Italy

Six representatives of Turkmenistan received grants for free three-month training in Italy at advanced training courses in the direction of "Italian language and literature", the press service of the embassy of the republic reports.
Grants for foreign citizens who live outside of Italy (IRE) are granted annually by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Within the framework of the program, foreigners from all over the world have the opportunity to take academic courses in various fields of science and technology, the Italian language, literature and culture.
The main goal of the program is to strengthen and promote the Italian language in the world, to maintain the interest of foreign citizens in the unique and ancient culture of Italy, the features of its national identity in the modern realities of European coexistence.
Italy is one of the key economic partners of Turkmenistan in the European Union. In the country, the teaching of Italian as a foreign language is carried out in some special schools, and three years ago it was introduced into the university program of the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages.
