Situation Centers to Be Established at All Higher Education Institutions in Uzbekistan Starting in 2027

During a video conference chaired by Shavkat Mirziyoyev, it was announced that situation centers would be established at all higher education institutions in Uzbekistan starting in 2027. These centers will monitor entry and exit at universities and student dormitories, track student attendance online, and oversee the prevention of offenses.
Currently, the safety of approximately 75,000 students—including 17,500 living in dormitories—is being monitored through the Situation Center operating at the "Yoshlik" student campus in Tashkent’s Olmazor district.
At the meeting, a directive was issued to implement this initiative in other districts of Tashkent by the end of 2026 and across all higher education institutions nationwide in 2027.
