Sites promoting betting services blocked

The Competition Committee of Uzbekistan announced that about 30 websites promoting betting services have been blocked in Uzbekistan. As a result of the work carried out, proposals were submitted to the AOKA to block 42 websites promoting betting services, of which about 30 sites were blocked in accordance with the established procedure.
According to the relevant presidential decree, online gambling and bookmaking activities will be allowed in Uzbekistan from January 1, 2025. This decree is aimed at preventing the outflow of funds from the country.
