Shops at bus stops to be removed in Tashkent

Shops located at bus stops in Tashkent will be gradually removed. This was reported by the press service of the capital's administration.
Specialists of the Traffic Management Center examined the 472 km of the capital's busiest highway. As a result of the audit, it was revealed that 110 commercial facilities, popularly called "commercial shops", are located in the areas of the stops. 61 of them failed to provide documents confirming the right to own or use the stop area. These facilities will be subject to a legal assessment and appropriate measures will be taken.
According to the decision of the city administration, all stops will be renovated. It is planned to compensate entrepreneurs with permits by relocating their points of sale to another location.
