Shooting took place on the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan

Yesterday, on September 6, there was a shooting between Taliban fighters and Pakistani border guards. This is reported by the TASS agency.

According to reports, the shooting took place near the Torkham checkpoint. As a result, 4 Taliban representatives were killed and 10 were injured.

According to unofficial information, Pakistani border guards wanted to build fortifications in the buffer zone. First, the Pakistani side opened fire. Traffic through the checkpoint is currently suspended.

We remind you that in May of this year, there was a major conflict on the border with Iran, a neighbor of Afghanistan. Two Iranian border guards and one Taliban fighter were killed in the shooting.
