Shooting near a school in Turkey: one student killed

A student carried out an armed attack near the Inji Uzmez Vocational High School in Turkey's Manisa province. One student was killed and several others were injured in the incident. Initial reports indicated that eight people were injured.
Police have detained the suspect. According to local media, the suspect is a 15-year-old 9th-grade student at the same school.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
