Shoigu showed Kim Jong-un strategic aircraft, fighter jets and the Kinjal missile system, which the Russian military is using to attack Ukraine.

After that, according to the Ministry of Defense, Kim Jong Un and Shoigu arrived on the frigate "Marshal Shaposhnikov" of the Pacific Fleet in Vladivostok, where the leader of the DPRK was shown anti-ship missile complexes "Uran" and universal cruise missile systems "Kalibr". .

Kim Jong Un's trip to Russia is his first official visit to a foreign country in the last four years. On September 13, the leader of North Korea visited the Vostochny cosmodrome, where he held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. North Korea's state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that Kim Jong Un invited Putin to North Korea, and Putin "welcomed the invitation."

According to Western intelligence services, Russia and North Korea are actively negotiating the supply of weapons that the Russian army can use in the war in Ukraine. In July, Shoigu paid an official visit to the DPRK. US intelligence assessed this trip as preparation for negotiations.
