Shavkat Mirziyoyev Visits the Center for Islamic Civilization

On October 20, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Center for Islamic Civilization in Tashkent to review the progress of construction and furnishing works.

The center was established based on a 2017 presidential decree, and the foundation stone was laid during the Eid al-Fitr holiday in 2018.

The complex displays the ancient Uthman Quran, various Qur’an manuscripts from different dynasties, and the heritage of great scholars and thinkers.

The president instructed officials to enrich the center’s activities and to organize the exhibitions in a way that is engaging and accessible to visitors.
