Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the mausoleums of Imam Bukhari and Islam Karimov

Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Samarkand to participate in the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference. During the visit, the President inspected the improvement works at the Imam Bukhari complex, which was rebuilt on an area of ​​​​44 hectares, and paid a visit.
The Head of State also visited the Hazrati Khizr complex and laid flowers at the mausoleum of the First President Islam Karimov.

❗️From October 30 to November 13, Samarkand is hosting the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, which will be attended by more than 2,800 representatives from 190 countries. This session is being held outside the headquarters in Paris for the first time in the last 40 years and in Central Asia for the first time. In turn, the conference is being held simultaneously with the 80th anniversary of the founding of UNESCO.
