On May 3 of this year, Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Samarkand to participate in the 59th meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank. The President began the visit by visiting the Imam Bukhari mausoleum and gave instructions on further improving the conditions for visitors to the complex. In particular, the need to expand parking lots, improve the territory, create a comfortable environment for pilgrims, and regularly analyze the work in this regard was emphasized. The importance of attracting imams-khatibs from across the republic to the complex and improving their qualifications was also noted.
