Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke by phone with the President of Kyrgyzstan

On June 4 of this year, the President had a telephone conversation with the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadir Japarov. During the conversation, Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Sadir Japarov and the fraternal Kyrgyz people on the election of Kyrgyzstan as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2027-2028.

During the conversation, it was noted that the relations of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan have reached a high level. Issues of accelerating the practical implementation of previously reached agreements in the economic, transport, energy and cultural and humanitarian spheres were also discussed.

The heads of state expressed their readiness to continue mutual cooperation and support in the international arena and reviewed the plan for future high-level events.
