Shavkat Mirziyoyev Signs the Charter of the Peace Council in Davos
On January 22, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in the signing ceremony of the Peace Council Charter in Davos, Switzerland. The initiative was launched by the U.S. leader.
Trump said the following about the members of the Council:
“Each of them is my friend. Usually there are two or three people I don’t like, but this time there aren’t. I really like this group. Believe it? Normally there are two or three people I don’t like, but I don’t see any of them here. I like all these people.”
The Peace Council is a new international body aimed at uniting countries ready to take responsibility for establishing long-term peace, stability, and security in Gaza. Trump stated that in the future the Peace Council could replace the UN.
